Kimono Care
To prevent wrinkling and stretching, we recommend that you fold your kimono and store it flat in paper kimono cases.
We do not recommend dry cleaning kimono. Most items can simply be aired out. Do not attempt to clean heavily embroidered, dyed, or silk items. For kimono and obi that need to be cleaned due to stains, please ask us about kimono and obi cleaning services.
Washable kimono can go into the washing machine. Use a mild detergent and cool water. Dry your kimono flat. We do not recommend machine drying kimono.
